Well it was a whirlwind end to 2012 and a fast paced beginning to 2013, and I needed a bit of a break! But it is nice to get back here again and into a routine once more. I'm feeling good things in store for 2013 and a renewed creative energy. I'm really enjoying pairing my images with words, quotes and affirmations and I hope you like this new venture. Golden Globes here I come!

Friday, December 9, 2011

I've been so busy these past weeks getting my 2012 Poetry of Fog desk calendars printed, packaged and ready to ship to California to be included in the 2012 GOLDEN GLOBE celebrity swag bags!! Today the 100 calendars are shipping and I can breathe a sigh of relief. I'm so over the moon to have my art in the hands of these celebrities, & to be a part of the Golden Globes! The foggy nature photographs were taken at Blendon Woods Metro Park, Franklin Park Conservatory and the Columbus Zoo - all in Columbus, Ohio. Several scenes were taken in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake Shore in northern Michigan. See the individual calendar months and my press release below!! Click HERE to visit my fine art shop. And click HERE to get to the calendar link. I'm so delighted to be a member of The Artisan Group who made this opportunity possible!

Day 12 Gratitude Project Today I feel very blessed to have health insurance & prescription coverage. It is definitely something I don't take for granted in this day & age. I am thankful my doctor has Saturday hours, for my friend who drove me there & for antibiotics. I hope they start kicking in soon.

Shade, home for critters & birds, nutrients from leaves, oh & the scrunching thorugh the leaves in the fall, fruits, beauty, a nice place to walk…

Thank you lesbrumes & ag artstudio for your beautiful textures.

14.30~ A Day Off

14.30~ A Day Off, originally uploaded by *ojoyous1*.

I had a much needed day off today - finally! I ended the day at my favorite haunt of late - the Bio Reserve in Granville. A regal 6 point buck kept crossing paths with Mags & me - he just strolled by! There were all sorts of fabulous birds foraging & calling. The day was a balm to my soul!
