I seem to have so many favorite shots & portraits lately! This is definitely one of them!! To me, this just sums up the beauty, innocence & Vulnerability of childhood! Childhood is a fine art... & I love capturing & preserving it!

This is little Miss E... She was taking a little break for a moment, & I was quick enough to snap it! This turned out to be one of my very favorite photographs I've ever taken. This is what I love about photography... you capture these fleeting moments... forever. I used a texture from my Vintage Pastel set & pulled it over twice - once in overlay, once in soft light blending modes.

This is one of my favorite shots from the Soulographer Indy2008 workshop! This little guy spent most of the time with his fingers in his mouth.. too cute! But when he got his little blankie, all was right with the world!! Throw in a cool little truck, & it gets even better!! Little boys love trucks!

I'm still working on the images from that wonderful portrait workshop in Indy. I'm enjoying applying the different methods we learned & playing around with some new post processing techniques. Also, it's so much fun to go back & see all the fun little expressions, the little nuances that make each one unique. Children just bring us right back into the moment!!

Well I'm back from the workshop, & wow, what a workshop!!! It was so informative & so inspiring!! The instructor rocked!!! And there was such a diverse & talented groups of girls! We learned about workflow & processing, how to photograph children with respect & were introduced to some great sites & vendors! And lucky me, I won a fabulous door prize... yay! It's a wonderful little pink/black leopard-licious print petitskirt!! I can't wait to use it!! Here is an initial posting of images from the workshop. These little ones were so fun & fabulous to work with!!
